Mid-northeast PETS is a premier training event for Rotary President-Elects and Assistant Governors.  Mid-northeast PETS provides required training to serve as club president, as well a inspiration and motivation.  Mid-northeast is a SIX DISTRICT, 300+ clubs training event, with an atmosphere of a mini Rotary International convention.  Our speakers, District Governors-Elect, committee and discussion leaders all have one think in mind:  equip and excite club presidents-elect for their year of service.

Lora is a CPA and has specialized in the financial services industry throughout her career.  In 2013, Lora and her spouse, James Archer, formed Green Jay Landscaping, an organic landscape design/build and ecological/wetland restoration company. Prior to this, she was with Philip Morris Capital Corporation (PMCC), an independent finance subsidiary of Altria Group, Inc, for thirty years and helped build and sell a portfolio of equity investments totalling over $20 billion of air, rail, real estate, power and manufacturing assets and an auditor with PricewaterhouseCoopers.  Her daughter, Alison Eng, is a business owner in the restaurant industry.

Lora was invited to join the Rotary Club of New York in 1988. In 1991, she moved to Rye with the company's relocation and transferred her Rotary membership to the Rotary Club of Rye, NY. She is a RC of Rye Past President 1995-96, Major Donor 2013-14, Past District 7230 Treasurer 2013-2015, PDG 2016-17, Mid NE PETS Treasurer 2015-2022 and District Rotary Foundation Chair 2019-2022 and now Zone 32 Asst. Regional Rotary Foundation Coordinator. Her club has sponsored seven Gift of Life children and has Sister Clubs with Courmayeur-Valdigne and Portofino, Italy.
